Mrs. Ola Belle Horne Miles, 91, of Lancaster, widow of Jack Miles, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born January 19, 1925 in Chesterfield Co., a daughter of the late Robert Horne and Bessie Sims Horne. Mrs. Miles was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church where she loved to sing in the choir. She loved the Lord and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Miles will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Cameron officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mrs. Miles is survived by a brother, Oscar Horne of Lancaster; and three sisters, Inez Whitt of Wagram, NC, Bessie Lee Bowers and Ruth Williams all of Lancaster; and a beloved sister-in-law and care-giver, Geneva Catoe. She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Miles; four brothers, Jack Horne, Robert Horne, Jake Horne and Ben Horne; and five sisters.
