LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mrs. Katie Horne Langley, age 80, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born August 22, 1932 in Chesterfield County, the daughter of the late Robert L. Horne and Bessie Horne and was the wife of Charles E. Langley. Mrs. Langley retired from Springs Industries, was a member of Antioch Eastern Star and Antioch Baptist Church.

Mrs. Langley is survived by her husband, Charles E. Langley of the home, a son, Charles Dennis Langley and his wife Susan of Gaithersburg, MD, a brother, Oscar Horne of Lancaster, 3 sisters, Ruth Williams, Bessie Bowers, and Ola Bell Miles all of Lancaster, 2 grandchildren, Christopher Benson Langley and Melissa Denise Langley and 3 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Langley will be 3:00 pm, Friday, September 21, 2012 at Antioch Baptist Church by Rev. Trent McLaughlin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
