Clarence was the sixth child of fourteen children born to the proud parents of Edward and Carrie Middleton of Bradenton, Florida.
He attended Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Florida; Xavier University in New Orleans; and UCLA in Santa Barbara, California. He was a teacher and administrator in the California school system until his retirement.
He leaves to cherish his many happy memories: his loving wife of 48 years, Lutha S. Middleton: three son's Clarence Maurois Middleton, Jr., Gerald Levert. Middleton, Alan Gustave Middleton and the late Calhoun Middleton. His siblings and many othr relatives and friends.
