OVERTON COUNTY - Graveside services for Clura Paul (Brownie) Brown, 91, of Pinckerton, Ohio, formerly of Overton County, were held at 10 a.m. today, Oct. 5, at Old Union Cemetery in Hilham.

Mr. Brown died on Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, in Pickerington.

He was born on Sept. 10, 1907, in Overton County to the late William H. (Billy) and Florence Rich Brown. Mr. Brown was a farmer.

His family includes his wife, Grace Weller Brown of Pickerington; two sons, Wilford (Bill) Brown of Pennsylvania and Leo Brown of New Jersey; two daughters, Betty Sonday and Geneva Kaiser, both of Pennsylvania; five brothers, Carl Brown of Rickman, Oscar Brown of Cookeville, Athern and Cecil Brown, both of Sparta, and Edward Brown of Nashville; three sisters, Josie Mae Carmack of Indianapolis, Ind., Marian Thurston of Ohio, and Rose Smith of Hilham.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Paul E. Brown; five brothers, Willie Hugh, Palo, Clifford, Rile and Truman Brown; and a sister, Arangie Ferrell.

Rev. Barry Ray officiated at the services.
