ERHARDT WENDEGATZ

Erhardt C. Wendegatz, 70, of Hustisford, died at 4 a.m. Sunday at the Hartford Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

Mr. Wendegatz was a tavern-keeper in Hustisford, since 1945. Born Dec. 11, 1902, in the Town of Herman, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelm Wendegatz. He married Edna Bergmann on April 8, 1945.

Survivors include his widow, two brothers, Adolph and Reuben both of Mayville; five sisters, Mrs. Lily Gross, Mrs. Leona Geschke and Mrs. Alice Muche, all of Mayville, Mrs. Lorinda Benedum of Wyocena and Miss Irene Wendegatz of Beaver Dam.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethany Lutheran Church I Hustisford with the Rev. E. B. Froehlich officiating. Burial will be at the Hustisford Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Berndt Funeral Home in Hustisford and from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Wednesday.
