Mrs. Leona O. Geschke, 83, of 3 S. Clark St., Mayville, died Monday, March 25, 1991, at St. Agnes Hospital.

She was born Aug. 3, 1907, in the Town of Herman, a daughter of Wilhelm and Emelie Justman Wendegatz. On April 11, 1928, she married Harry Geschke in the Town of Herman.

Mrs. Geschke was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Theresa, and Mayville Senior Citizens.
Survivors include four sons, Harry and his wife Rosalin of Theresa, Raymond and his wife Mary and Gilbert and his wife Elaine, both of Mayville, and Charles and his wife Laua of Burnett; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Patricia Geschke of Theresa; 28 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lorenda Benedum of Juneau; one brother, Ruben Wendegatz and his wife Irene of Mayville; one brother-in-law, Frank Muche of Mayville; and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Edna Wendegatz of Hustisford; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceding her in death were her husband in 1971; and three sons, Wally in 1898, Gerald and Myland.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Theresa. The Rev. David D. Aderman will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Theresa.

Friends may call Friday from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, and Saturday from 11 a.m. to the hour of services at the church.
