RUBEN FRANK WENDEGATZ

Ruben Frank Wendegatz, 92, of 127 N. John St., Mayville, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

He was born on Nov. 4, 1913, in Dodge County, to William and Emelie Justmann Wendegatz.

On June 25, 1949, he married Irene Bintzler at Mayville.

He retired from Maysteel Corp. in Mayville.

He was an active member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville.

Surviving are his step-daughter, Lucille Sell of West Bend; 10 grandchildren; 223 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife in 1996; two stepdaughters, Eunice Wrucke and Dolores Schaumberg; brothers and sisters.,

Services: Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville. The Rev. James Mallmann will officiate and burial will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Mayville.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, at the church.

Memorials may be directed to St. John Ev. Lutheran church.
