Mrs. Jacqueline A. Garriott 75, of Elston Mo. passed away Monday April 27, 2015 at Callaway County Hospital in Fulton Mo.

Jackie was born on February 12, 1940 in Elston Mo. the daughter of Robert H. and Irene R. Buckner Hackney. She was married on March 17, 1963 in Jefferson City Mo. to Clyde Garriott.

A lifelong resident of Elston Area, Jackie graduated from Jefferson City High School.

After graduating from high school, Jackie was employed with the Missouri Baptist Convention. Later, she was employed with the Missouri Department of Revenue and retired from the Missouri Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.

She was a member of Concord Baptist Church and had been a member of the Bible Baptist Church and the Elston Baptist Church.

Jackie enjoyed cooking and gardening. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of fifty two years, Clyde Garriott, two sons, Mark Garriott of Jefferson City Mo; and Jonathan Garriott and wife Sara of Jefferson City Mo. one daughter, Sarah Carpenter and husband Vernie of Corning Arkansas; two sisters; Allene Hoskins Leonard and husband Eddie, and Linda Harrison and husband Ronald both of Jefferson City Mo. ten grandchildren, Rachel Janes, Emily DaVault and husband David, Matt Carpenter and wife Kelsey, Julie Carpenter, Keistin Garriott, Courtney Andrews, Elsie Garriott, Nathan Garriott, Ben Garriott, and Montana Green; and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Hackney and one daughter in law, Robyn Andrews.

Visitation will be at Concord Baptist Church from 10-11a.m. Saturday May 2, 2015.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11.M. Saturday MAY 2, 2015 at the Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Monte Shinkle officiating. Graveside services will be held at the Centertown Cemetery.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Concord Baptist Church.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
