OBITUARY OF OSCAR BJELKE

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Oscar BJELKE, 62, died at the family home, First North and Fourth West streets, at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, after a four months' illness from a heart ailment. Mr. BJELKE had operated a shoe repair shop here for the past 20 years.

He was born in Mount Pleasant February 08, 1879, a son of pioneer parents, Carl G. and Maria Wall BJELKE.

He married Katrina OLSON of Mount Pleasant in Nephi July 15, 1929.

Surviving are his widow, a step-daughter, Mrs. Helen O. RIGBY; a sister, Mrs. Emma B. BRAND, and a brother, J. A. BJELKE, all of Mount Pleasant.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, under direction of the Ursenbach Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant City Cemetery.
