MOUNT PLEASANT -- The Funeral of Carl G. BJELKE was held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from family residence. Deceased was born in Sweden, December 13, 1823. He emigrated to Utah in 1861, crossed the plains with an ox team in Capt. Murdock's company. After residing in Salt Lake City one year he came to Mount Pleasant where he lived until his death which occurred December 09, of old age and general debility. He leaves a wife and three children, Mrs. G. W. BRAND, Axtel BJELKE and Oscar BJELKE.
