Mrs. A. Koenecke of Ceylon Called
Mrs. Augusta Keoenecke, widow of the late H. D. Koenecke, died at her home in Ceylon at noon today following an illness since last Thanksgiving. She was 84 years old.
Mrs. Koenecke had been a resident of Ceylon for about 20 years, moving to that village from a farm southwest of Dunnell.
Mr. Koenecke died in 1934.
Surviving are four daughters and six sons. They are: Frank and Henry Koenecke of Dunnell, Edward of Estherville, Herman of Jackson, Fred of Ceylon, George of Fairmont; Mrs. Leonard Forstrom and Mrs. Henry Moltzen of Fairmont; Ella Koenecke at home; Mrs. J. W. Pannell who assisted in caring for her mother, lives at Estherville.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed, but burial will be at the Lake Fremont cemetery, Dunnell. (Fairmont Sentinel, Fairmont, MN, May 26, 1943 )
