Harry Howard Waage, son of Samuel and Emma Rupp Waage, was born November 16, 1900 near Grant, Iowa and passed away October 2, 1986 at Methodist Midtown in Omaha, Nebraska.
Mr. Waage had worked at the power plant and farmed in the area.
He was married to Hazel Amerine at Red Oak, January 8, 1923.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel of Villisca, five Children, Mrs. Duane (Betty) Rhamy of Villisca, Mrs. Dorothy Henry of Waukegan, Illinois, Mrs. Harold (Mary) Janell Parrott of Bridgewater, Mrs. Tom (Margaret) Neil of Wlm Creek, Nebraska, and John Waage and his wife Mary of Olathe, Kansas. 16 grandchildren, 17 step-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and several step-great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Cleo Calkins of O'Neil, Nebraska, Lela Mullen of Red Oak, and Verda Narigon of Villisca, two brothers, Russell Waage of Corning and Ralph Waage of Fremont, Nebraska.
Preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers, Ernes, Fay, and Arhtur, and one sister, Mabel Govig.
Funeral services were held at the Advent Christian Church in Villisca, Iowa, October 6, at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Al Hutchings officiating. Burial in the Villisca Cemetery.
Frances Gray was organist and Debbie Hutchings, soloist. Ralph and Joyce Neill were at the guest register. Ushers were Albert Baker and Cecil Newberg. Pall bearers were Richard and Larry Tener, David and Danny Henry, Dick and Jack Parrott, Dennis and Scott Neill, and Mark and Clark Waage.
