Christina Wahl Naasz was born in Russia, July 1, 1887, the daughter of Jacob and Dorothy L Wagaman Wahl. As a child, she attended a Christian day school.

She was 18 when she emigrated to the US with her parents, the family settling at Java SD.

Following her marriage to Ludwig Naasz at Java, January 20, 1908, the couple farmed in SD for five years. In 1913, they moved to MT and took up a homestead at Crow Rock, where they raised their family of six children. Mr and Mrs Naasz retired and move to Terry in 1946. Following her husband's death two years later, Mrs Naasz remained in her own home and lived independently until entering the nursing home in May 1980. Mrs Naasz passed away June 13, 1982, at Prairie Community Nursing Home, where she'd been a resident the last two years. She was within 17 days of her 95th birthday.

Survivors are three daughters-Martha Neiffer and Delila (Mrs Harold) Scheid of Terry, and Erna (Mrs John) Haber of Brockway; and two sons-Edgar of Miles City and Eugene of Colstrip.

Another son, Edwin and an only brother, George Wahl of Miles City preceded her in death

Seventeen grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and six great-great- grandchildren also survive.
