Martha and George H Neiffer were united in marriage on December 16, 1928 at Crow Rock. They homesteaded at Crow Rock. They homesteaded at Crow Rock until 1938 when they moved to Cabin Creek. They farmed at Cabin Creek until 1940 and then moved to Terry.
Mrs Neiffer worked for Kempton Hotel, Young's Bar and Cafe and Larry's Cafe. She was first cook when the hot lunch program was initiated at the Terry schools in 1954 and was employed there until her retirement in 1971. In March of 1991, she moved to the TLC Personal Care Home in Miles City.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Legion Auxiliary, Ladies Aid of her church, and the Senior Citizen's Center.
Mrs Neiffer, 84, passed away October 31, 1993 at Holy Rosary Hospital.
Survivors are her son, Cliff (Lynn) of Terry; three daughters and families, Violet (Clarence) Kuehn of Terry, Lorraine (CE "Red") Barrett of Billings, and Cecile (Jim) Certain of Miles City, a brother Eugene Naasz of Nashua; two sisters, Erna Haber of Brockway and Delila Scheid of Terry; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
