George J. Van Vark, 97, passed away Friday at the Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines, Iowa. George, husband of the late Helen M. (Meulpolder) Van Vark, is survived by four daughters and their husbands: Delores Boerigter of Pella, Lois and Larry Aldridge of Kellogg, IA, Lori and Tom Bailey, and Brenda Quirk of Knoxville, IA; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
