Marie L. (Van Vark), 91 of Pella, IA, passed away Friday evening at the Oskaloosa Care Center in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Marie, the wife of the late Marion J. Boat, is survived by her two sons and their families: Leon and Carla Boat of Pella and their two children and three grandchildren; Gwynn Boat of Pella and his three children; and one brother, George Van Vark of Pella.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 1:30 pm at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home, Pella, Iowa. Interment will be made in the Oakwood Cemetery at Pella, iowa. Visitation will begin Tuesday afternoon at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home where the family will be present Tuesday from 5-7 pm. Memorials may be given to the family of Marie L. Boat.
