I've been doing genealogy since 1975. Live in central Iowa and have gone around to several cemeteries to add names and photographs of stones. I have even gone to cemeteries in Wisconsin Nebraska and Illinois and added those names and photos. If anyone wants to use one of my photos that is fine with me. I have no problem with that.

I put on memorials after they have died - if there's a duplicate because someone put on a person long before they died - that is wrong - and don't ask me to delete mine.
