Obituary from Post Register (Idaho Falls, ID) - May 17, 1987:
ARCHER - Nina Dumont, 64, a longtime resident of Archer, died May 14, 1987 at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho, following a heart attack.
She was born March 22, 1923 at Archer, Idaho to Wesley LaVern and Velma Lucille Carlson Grover. She was raised at Archer, attended schools there and graduated from Madison High School. She worked for King's Department Store in Rexburg in the early 1940s.
On August 27, 1945 she married Gene L. Dumont at Rigby. They lived a short time at Rexburg and in 1950 they built a home in Archer where they have since resided. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include her husband of Archer; a son, Val Gene Dumont of Archer; a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Rhonda) Wunder of Broomfield, Colorado; four sisters, Mrs. Jay (Irene) Fikstad of Ammon, Doris Larsen and Mrs. Dale (Gwen) Sommer, both of Idaho Falls, and Mrs. Ray (Zenda) Sharp of Sugar City. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Archer-Sunnydell LDS Church with Bishop Richard Holloway officiating. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery at Archer.
