Zenda Eileen Grover Sharp, 80, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at her home from her third battle with cancer.

Zenda was born April 16, 1933, in Archer, Idaho, the daughter of Wesley Lavern Grover and Thelma Lucille Carlson Grover. She grew up in Archer, where she attend elementary school and graduated from Madison High School.

She married Ray Sharp on May 15, 1951. He passed away April 8, 2000.

Zenda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, yardwork, reading recipe books, going to Jackpot and most of all, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All of the neighborhood children called her "Grandma." She is survived by her children, Vardis (Barbara) Sharp of Rexburg, Travis (Alaina) Sharp of Sugar City and Raylene Seymour of Idaho Falls; her grandchildren, Kelly Sharp, Stacey (Richard) Guinn, Shanelle (Tony) Mele, Shalisa and Kyler Sharp, Arielle and Cassidy Seymour; her great-grandchildren, Cyrus Mele, Emeri and Ronyn Sanford; and her sister, Doris Larsen of Idaho Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray; her sisters, Irene Fikstad, Nina Dumont and Gwen Sommer; an infant brother; and a great-grandson, Gabriel Mele.

Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, Nov. 22, at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Friday prior to services, both times at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sutton Cemetery.
