RUDOLPH BEHNKE

Rudolph Behnke, 79, of the Town of Rockland, died Wednesday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John and St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Reedsville, the Rev. John Wendland officiating. Burial will be in West Side Church Cemetery.

Mr. Behnke was born April 27, 1882, in the Town of Rockland, son of the late Carl and Henriette Seehawer Behnke. He was married June 9, 1904, to Anna Krepline at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Collins. They farmed in the Town of Rockland until Mr. Behnke retired in 1954. His wife preceded him in death 14 years ago.

Survivors include a son, Leonard, at home, two daughters, Elsie Behnke, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Ralph Behnke, of Rt. 2, Brillion, nine grand-children and two great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Thursday. The body will be moved to the church at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
