Perry was a Manager for the Stockton Water Lines in Stockton, California. Perry is loved by his family and friends. Perry died on May 2, 1984 in Stockton California due to causes incident to age.. Perry was buried in Sandy, Cemetery, Sandy, Salt Lake County, Utah on May 5, 1984.

He was a kind man, and had a great love for children, An excellent worker, and very independent. He will be missed by many family, friends and neighbors. Survivors, brothers, Orrin P., LeGrand, and Dall L., all of Murray; Guss P., Salem, Utah; Mrs. Shelby (Reva) Neville, of Aberdene, Idaho; Mrs. John (Raline) Metcalf, Stockton,California, A dear friend Maude Cannon, Stocckton, California; half brothers and sisters, Glendon Black, Cline Black, both of Blanding, Utah; Kelly D. Black, Sparks, Nevada; Mrs. hyrum (Rita) Johnson, California; and Mrs. Darius (Carma) Billings, of Brigham, City, Utah; and Mrs. Thurman (Darlene)Billings, California; Rachel Black, Blanding. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 2:30 at the Jenkins Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State where friends may call Saturday one hour prior to service. Interment Sandy City Cemetery." Obit.
