Fonda Porter Black was born on July 18, 1917 to Morley Larsen Black and Lydia Ellen (Nellie) Porter at Blanding, San Juan County, Utah. Most of her life was spent in Blanding, Utah. In 1926 Fonda went with Lydia Ellen (Nellie) Porter to Salt Lake and eventually settled in Sandy, Utah. Fonda was quite ill and her Mother spent many hours with her at the hospital. Fonda, age 11, died on February 22, 1928 of Inantion Foxenica (Stomach Cancer). Fonda was buried in Sandy City Cemetery, Sandy City, Salt Lake County, Utah on Feb.27, 1928
