She was a daughter of Daniel and Hannah O'Connell Coughlin. She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy.
She married Leo D. Buckley of Brasher April 18, 1927 at St. Patrick's Church. He died on 7/28/1957.
The couple operated a dairy farm in Brasher Settlement for many years. Mrs. Buckley also worked at the U.S. Post Offices in Brushton and Brasher Falls.
Surviving was a son, Robert D., Brasher Falls; three daughters, Mrs. Harry (Shirley) Grow; Helena, Mrs. Joe (Margaret) Barton, Raleigh, NC; and Mrs. Ronald (Mary) Nezezon, Spencerport; 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Two sons died previously, Daniel Buckley, in June 1978, and Dr. Patrick C. Buckley, in October 1990. Five brothers, Harry, Herman, James, Riley and Donald Coughlin, and two sisters, Margaret Coughlin and Mrs. Mollie O'Brien, also died before her.
