Leota was my Great Aunt, a sister to my Grandmother Ethel Defreece. She went by "Lee". She was the sixth child born to Hardin and Emma Defreece. Aunt Lee was a vivid reader, she loved to read, and would read everything, she was a very intelligent woman, and a very religous woman. She gave birth to 13 children, 3 of which died when young, two in 1931 with the Measels and Pneumonia - John Jessi who was almost 1yrs, and Clara who was 12yrs, and then Annie Pearl who died at only 1 month old in 1926.
