Early Life: Leona was born January 5, 1924, in Cedar Fort, Utah, to William Henry Cook and Elizabeth Elton Cook. Leona loved music and sharing it with all her friends.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: On August 26, 1941, she married Edmund Melwin "Jerry" Cook in Las Vegas, Nevada. She loved gardening, Westerns and cooking. She also enjoyed visits from her family and spending time with her grandkids. Leona Cook Bird passed away on December 11, 2013. She was 89.
Survived By: Her children: son, Michael Jerry Bird; daughters, Naomi Bird Rose and Janet Elizabeth Bird; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Clyde Cook and sister, Vivian DuBois.
Preceded In Death By: Her parents, husband, granddaughter and seven siblings.
