Funeral Services For Ernest Cook Set Tomorrow
Funeral services for Ernest W. Cook of American Fork, formerly of Cedar Fort, will be conducted tomorrow at 12 noon in the American Fork Sixth-Eighth Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the family residence, 456 N. Second E., in American Fork this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday morning until 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the American ' Fork cemetery.
Mr. Cook died at his residence Tuesday afternoon at approximately 2 p.m. He was born November 18. 1905 at Cedar Fort, the son of William H. and Alice Chamberlain Cook. He married Clare Blackhurst December 23, 1929 in Salt Lake City. Prior to his death he was employed as a foreman at the Geneva Steel Plant, and was a member of the American Fork Sixth Ward, LDS Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, . Richard E. Cook of Montrose, Calif., and Jerald L. Cook serving on an LDS mission in Australia; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. La Verne Creighton, Costa Mesa, Calif., and Mrs. Thelma Pohlman, Los Angeles, Calif.: three half brothers, John, Arthur, and Clyde, all of Cedar Fort; and four half sisters, Mrs. Nettie Hays, Mrs. Vivian DuBois and Mrs. Ruth DeBoer, all of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Leona Bird, Lehi.
