Mr. L. P. Blanchard, one of our oldest citizens died on Sunday night last, after a protracted illness. Thus again are we called upon to chronicle the death of one of our best citizens. A good man has gone to his rest.

NEWARK ITEMS.
During the week just past there have been three deaths in this vicinity: On Sunday night the 11th inst., Mr. L. P. Blanchard, and a little child of Mr. Jas. Porter were called away, and on Friday night Mr. Coulson breathed his last. Two of these were old citizens of this county, and both were upright christian men.
