John Miazga, 86, passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013. John was a lifelong resident of Rhinelander. He graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1944. He then served with the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre.
John is survived by Nancy, his wife of 59 years, and their children, Bill (Sue), Tom (Connie), Bob (Lori), Kathy, Jean Williams (John) and his 14 grandchildren. John is also survived by his sister, Ann Manning, two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church - St. Mary's site. Father Peter Guthneck will officiate. Interment will follow in the Forest Home Cemetery.
