Eltha I. Sweat, 68, of the Bethlehem Community near LaFollette, died Saturday at Middlesboro Community Hospital.
She was a member of the Forks Grove Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her mother, father, and son.
Mrs. Sweat is survived by her husband, Cuen "Honey" Sweat of LaFollette; three daughters, Mrs. Glenadean Dunn of Middlesboro, Ky., Mrs. Clydia Freeman and Mrs. Christine Brown of LaFollette; a son, Rex Sweat of LaFollette; two sisters, Ida Stanford and Mrs. Walter Moore of Monroe, Mich.; two brothers, Hubert Dial of LaFollette, and Virgil Dial of Toledo, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Forks Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Virgil Cole and Leonard Dabney officiating. Burial was in Bakers Forge Cemetery.
Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette was in charge of arrangements.
