Mrs Welch died Wednesday in St Francis Hospital, Wichita, KS, following a stroke. She had been visiting a daughter, Mrs Gladys Whitley, in Wichita, the past six weeks. Born in Panola Co, TX, Mrs Welch came here six years ago from Altus. She was a member of St Luke's Methodist Church.
