ZICK
Edward C. Zick, 80, of Rt. 1, Brillion, died Wednesday at a Kaukauna hospital following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at Brillion Methodist Church with the Rev. Patrice DeMestral officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Appleton.
Mr. Zick was born Mar. 380, 1882, in the Town of Brillion, son of the late Carl and Albertina Persohn Zick. He married Bertha Huebner March 25, 1909, at Forest Junction. Mr. Zick operated farms in the Kiel, New Holstein and Stockbridge areas and after his retirement from farming lived at Forest Junction where he was employed by Knoke Lumber Co., for a number of years. The couple observed its golden wedding anniversary in 1959.
Among survivors are his wife, a son, Harold of Brillion; three daughters, Mrs. Carl Daniels of Kimberly, Mrs. Harold Piepenburg of Reedsburg and Mrs. Nelson Tamm of Brillion; a brother, Benjamin of Brillion; seven sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bastian of Brillion, Miss Marie of Clintonville, Mrs. Hannah Keuer of Brillion, Mrs. Gustave Huebner of Seymour, Mrs. Emily Wiese of Clintonville, Mrs. Sarah Huebner of Milwaukee and Mrs. John Felton of Brillion; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, until 10:30 a.m. Saturday when the casket will be moved to the church and the body will lie in state until time of service.
