William Palmer

Preston-William Palmer, 94, died Friday in a Preston nursing home after a short illness.

He was born Nov. 4, 1880, at Brigham City, Utah, to John and Jedidah Davis Palmer. He married Phillis Louisa Page June 12, 1907, in the Logan LDS Temple. She died April 27, 1965.

He was a farmer, and active in LDS temple activities. He was a high priest in the Preston Third Ward.

Surviving are sons and daughters, James and Mrs. Suel (Willa Gae) Murdock, both of Preston; Mrs. Homer (Ruby) Williams, Boise; Mrs. John (Ruth) Berg, Firth; Jarvis, Lavon and Douglas, all of Ogden, Utah; DeLamar, Kaysville, Utah and Darrel, Fortuna, Calif.; 47 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Preston Third LDS ward chapel. Friends may call at Webb Mortuary Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from noon until time of services. Burial will be in the Dayton Cemetery.
