ROGERS RITES IS SCHEDULED ON WED.
Funeral services will be at the First Baptist Church at Wortham Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mrs. Ila Rogers, 74, a long time resident of Wortham who died in the Wortham Hospital Tuesday morning. The Rev. H.I. McKiss....?, pastor of the Cedar Baptist Church will officate and burial will be in
Wortham Cemetery with Walker Funeral Home in Charge of arrangements. Mrs. Rogers was born near Streetman on 5-8-1896 and lived in Wortham most of her life. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by husband, Ernest Rogers. Survivors include a son Billy Rogers of Wortham, 3 daughters, Mrs. Eva Miller of Mexia, Mrs. Frances Zuber of Wortham and Mrs. Idell Cowart of Thornton; 15 grand children and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 sisters, Mrs. Beulah York, Fairfield, Mrs. Lura Catlin, Dallas and Miss Addie Mae Cate of Wortham. 3 brothers; Alva Cate of Fort Worth, Floyd Cate of Mexia and Virgil Cate of Greenville and a number of nieces and nephews.
