McDonald-At the home of her parents in Philomath, Benton County, Oregon on January 12, 1905, Susie Clare McDonald, age 22 years, 8 months and 18 days.
Susie was born near Scio, on April 22, 1882, where the greater part of her life was spent. About 2 years ago she moved with her parents to Philomath, where she has since made her home.
Susie was happily converted a year ago, in Scio, and united with the Baptist church in this place. She has lived the life of a consistent Christian since, died happy and trusting in the hope of everlasting life.
She leaves a father, mother, six sisters, and four brothers, besides a large number of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. All miss her much, yet do not wish her back here again to suffer.
