Funeral services for Henry C. Franklin, 81 years of age, were held Thursday, March 26 at the home in South Campbellsville with the Rev. B. J. Skaggs in charge. Burial was in Brookside. Mr. Franklin was a native of Adair County. He was married to Miss Bettie Oaks 49 years ago, who survives him. Five sons and a daughter also survive: J. B. Franklin, Campbellsville; Henry, of Los Angeles; Goebel, Monticello, Ind.; George, Shelbyville, Ind.; and B. J., of New York City; and Mrs. Nannie Lee, Shelbyville, Ind. He also leaves two brothers: Lewis Franklin, of Lexington, Ky., and Bill Franklin, Campbellsville; also 24 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
