ERVIN R. CLIFFORD — KEYSER — Ervin Ralph Clifford, 89, of Chestnut Street, Keyser, W.Va., died Monday, September 7, 1981, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.

Born on August 8, 1892, in Williamsport, W.Va., he was a son of the late Jacob E. Clifford and Jane Katherine (Green) Clifford. In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Beckwith and Myrtle Bruce, and six brothers, James, Charles, Harrison, infant boy, Leonard and Floyd Clifford.

Mr. Clifford was a retired B&O Railroad employee, he was a member of Janes United Methodist Church, a veteran of World War I and a life member of Washington-Smith Post 152, American Legion, where he was finance officer for 35 years.

Surviving are his widow, Juanita R. (Streets) Clifford; one daughter, Freda B. Rolls, of Keyser; two sons, Julian E. Clifford, of Harvey, Ill., and Neil E. Clifford, of Loran, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and one step-grandchild.

Friends will be received at the Rotruck Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted there Sunday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Ernest Davis officiating.

Interment will in Thorn Rose Cemetery.
