Erma Lillian Werbelow Olbricht
1921 - 2010

Erma Lillian Werbelow Olbricht, 88, passed away due to complications of vascular thrombosis, early in the morning on Friday, March 19, 2010, at the Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, Wash.

Erma was born on Dec. 13, 1921, in Emblem, Wyo., to the late Ella Louise (Blank) and Martin Heinrich Werbelow. She was the oldest of 15 children. On Feb. 4, 1942, in Bridger, she married Ernest Henry Olbricht. From that union they had seven children. Erma lived in Emblem, from 1921 to 1960. Erma and Ernie owned a general store from 1948 to 1960. In June of 1960 she moved to San Jose, Calif. and worked for Wool's Packing Company for 25 years. Mom was a fantastic cook and loved to bake angel food cakes for everyone's birthdays. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Mom was a great mother and provider.

Erma was preceded in death by her father and mother, and her four brothers Elmer, Franklin, Melvin and an infant boy; and her son-in-law Dick Galli. She is survived by her son Larry (Gail) Olbricht of Hamilton; daughter Marilyn (Ron) Bianco of San Jose; son Darrel (Diane) Olbricht of Hamilton; daughter Linda Galli of Hamilton; son Raymond Olbricht of San Jose; daughter Nancy (Rich) Barone of San Jose; and daughter Anita (Rick) Davies of Hamilton; in addition to 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, six sisters, and four brothers.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, at Grace Lutheran Church, 275 Hattie Lane in Hamilton. Rev. Vernon Sandersfeld will be officiating. The internment will follow and will take place at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton. Services are entrusted to the care and direction of Brothers Mortuary and Crematory, Hamilton.
