Lois Louise EAKINS Cartwright was born in Healdton, Oklahoma to John & Jessie PLEMONS Eakins. She married John Elzie Cartwright on June 17, 1939, in Wilson, Oklahoma.
Most of her life was spent being a homemaker and raising her 4 children. Later she worked as a nurse's aide and foster grandparent at the Denton State School for over 30 years.
She was strong in her faith at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Valley View. Sons, James, Frank and Jimmy Cartwright. Daughter, Peggy CARTWRIGHT Andrews. Sisters, Pauline [Hodges], Christine [Williams]. Brother, William Eakins. She was preceded in death by Elzie (1981), son-in-law, Ervin Andrews (1992) and 7 sisters.
