Mrs. Wolke was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Barnard of Athensville, Ill., Greene county. She would have been 21 years of age Nov. 25. Besides her husband and her father and mother she leaves the following brothers and sisters to mourn her death: Mrs. Walter Chapman, bourbon, Mo.; Gertrude Barnard, at home; Mrs. Elmer E. Hinman, Cuba, Mo.; Charles Barnard, White Hall; Kirk and Ernest of Athensville; Russell, in the navy; Mrs. Frank Blair, White Hall; Gladys, Sylvia and Pansy at home, and several nieces and nephews; one sister Josephine, preceded her in death.
Deceased united with the Baptist church at Athensville, in 1912, and was united in marriage with Joseph Wolke, Feb. 12, 1917.
She was of a jolly, happy disposition and made friends wherever she went.
Funeral services will be held at Diamond Grove cemetery Wesnesday at 10 a.m. in charge of Rev. W. R. Johnson of Winchester.
