J.A. Austin

J.A. Austin, age 78, died at his home in South Winona at 11:30 A.M., Saturday, March 7th, after a lengering illness.

Mr. Austin had been a resident of Winona for about 25 years and was held in high esteen. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the residence conducted by Rev. A.C. McCorkle, pastor of the Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. V. E. Boston, Baptist pastor.

Interment was made in Oakvood Cemetery.

The desceased is survived by five children; C.P. Austin of Winona, E. H. Austin of Greenwood; Mrs. Ethel Smith of Winona; Mrs. Lula Keltner of Winona; Miss Nettie Austin of Winona.

The Times extgends its deepest sympathy to the bereaved children in their sorrow.
