Miss Bettie Austin
Miss Bettie Austin, lifelong resident of Montgomery Co. died Tuesday morning, Nov. 4, at the home of her niece, Mrs. Minnie Holmes, near here.
She was 82 & had been in ill health for many years.
Services were held at the Bethleham Methodist Church Wednesday morning at 10. The Rev. James T. McCafferty of Vaiden officiating. Burial was in the Bethleham cem, with Oliver Funeral home in charge.
Miss Austin was the last of 21 children of the late Anderson Austin & Martha Bramlett Austin of Montgomery Co. For many years she was caretaker of the County Home. She was a member of the Bethleham Methodist Church.
