LELAND H. "LEE" WINTON, 80, of 306 N. Ridgeland in Fritch, Texas, died at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, 27 Oct 1985 in Magic Plains Nursing Home.
Retired from Natural Gas Pipeline Co., he was a native of Indian Territory (Oklahoma), and an area resident since 1928. He was a member of the Baptist church.
He is survived by his wife, Lois, of the home; one son, Dwain Winton of Fritch; one daughter, Marlene Cutrer, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; one brother, Loyd Winton, of Duncan, Oklahoma; four sisters: Alice Holt of Borger, Cleo LaPlante of Borger, Lois Kafer of Waurika, Oklahoma, and Elizabeth Newberry of Hastings, Oklahoma; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ron Trussler, pastor of the First Southern Baptist Church of Fritch, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
