Unknown newspaper clipping:
"A feeling of sadness permeated Waurika's rural community when it was learned Sunday morning that Mrs. O.W. Frost had died during the night, just two days after the birth of her little stillborn son.
Interment was Sunday evening nearing candle lighting time, as a wait had been made for some relatives to arrive. Funeral services were at the Ryan cemetery where Rev. Harold Diggs of the Irving Baptist church, brought comfort to aching hearts by prayer and scripture reading.
Ada was born 8 November 1914, and thus was 20 years, 11 months and five days old at the time of her passing. She was married to O.W. Frost of the Riverview community 29 October 1933. Looking forward eagerly to the birth of her first baby, she little guessed that they would both be sleeping under October's sunny skies this week in adjoining graves.
Mrs. Frost grew to young womanhood in this community, reared by her father, A.T. Winton and an older sister, Mrs. Cleo Winton Sanders, who took the place of the mother who passed away several years ago, leaving six small children to whom Mrs. Sanders endeavored to take a mother's place.
She was well loved in the community as the large crowd attending the funeral and the flowers sent as tributes to the life she had live testified.
She is survived by her husband, O.W. Frost; her father. A.T. Winton; and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Cleo Sanders, Mrs. Estel Holt, Loyd and Leland Winton, Borger, Texas; Misses Elizabeth and Lois and R.J. Winton, who are still at home."
***********
Daughter of Albert Thornton Winton (1875-1961) and Mattie Bedford (1884-1922). Sister of Oma Winton (1912-1924), Alice Winton Holt (1913-1989), Elizabeth Winton Newberry (1915-1986), R. J. Winton (1916-1945), Lois Winton Kafer (1918-1997) & Infant boy Winton (1920-1920). Half-sister of: Loyd Franklin Winton (1901-1993), Cleo Winton (1906-1996) and Leland Harris Winton (1905-1985). Married O.W. Frost on 29 Oct 1933 at Waurika, Jefferson, Oklahoma. First baby stillborn on 11 Oct 1935, buried with mother.
