RE: Estelle Blanch Rhodes Cogswell
Hi Ann

The 1860 United States Federal Census lists her the daughter of John H & Julia Ann Rhodes & that she was 12 years old which would put her birth year as 1848, place of birth Florida.
And yes, I found the information from several other trees in ancestry. If & when I have proof I will contact you.

Best regards,
Lynn

Eugene Thomas
I was wondering if you know if this Eugene Thomas is the son of Leon James Thomas and Mamie Thomas? My wife has a picture and on the back it says "Eugene Thomas Aunt Mamie's son and Leon Thomas's ( my wife's grandfather, Harvey English Thomas's brother) son. This picture of Eugene Thomas, he has on a Navy Uniform, looks like WW2. I would like to place it on his memorial. What do you think? His father, Leon James Thomas is buried in the Holton Church Cemetery in Bacon County, GA. I have his memorial on Find a Grave. If you think this could be you can link him to his father and I could place his picture there.

RE: Possible Grave Photo
Ann, I don't remember if I replied to your last message or not?? the lady who was seeking the information the Beheler relative must have found what she needed. She was trying to prove her line for membership on the United Daughters of the Confederacy and she was successful in finding the information she needed. I really do NOT know the exact name/spelling of the one she needed and found. Several of us were trying to help her in different directions. She doesn't have a computer or internet service in the farming area where she lives. But thank you for trying to help!!!! She is very happy now!! Linda Haskell

RE: Divers Pond Cemetery
I actually got the names for Divers Pond Cemetery from the Barnwell County Cemetery Book, Vol. 3 page 14. I did some research to try and connect families. The book says this cemetery is located off Rivers Bridge Rd on Left of Hwy S5-2 231. Turn right on first dirt road and cemetery is a quarter of a mile back in the woods on right. (These are not very good directions)

I tried to find it on the Google map with Ariel view but when I try to click on the location that looks like a cemetery, it takes me to the street, not the woods view. Sorry I can't be of more help.

RE: Bassett Family
Can you tell me the location of Divers Pond Cemetery, Bamberg County? I just ran across this name and have never heard of it before. I noticed that you have 2 photo requests for this little cemetery. The next time I'm in the neighborhood I'll go by and photograph the graves. Thanks again for any and all of your help and kindness. Wimsang
