Colony abandoned 17 October 1608. "Mary and John" and "Virginia" (built at the colony 1607-1608) arrived back in England near the end of November 1608. Sailed for Jamestown, VA on 9 June 1609 as the captain on the "Virginia" in a fleet of nine ships (The third supply). Appointed Captain of Fort Algernon (also spelled Fort Algernourne) at Point Comfort in the Virginia Colony and later governed the colonies at Henrico.
