ESTIMABLE LADY CROSSES DARK RIVER
Mrs. Cordelia C. Milligan Has Passed Away After a Brief Illness - Cordelia C. beloved wife of William A. Milligan, a carpet weaver, quietly passed away last night about 11:30 o'clock at the family home on 9th & Yuba Sts. after an illness of eight days. Death resulted from an attack of pneumonia. Despite every medical assistance possible that was rendered the sick woman, she being of frail physique was unable to withstand the strain and succumbed to the disease.
She was a native of Rackerby in this county and aged 44 years, 6 months and 18 days and beside a heart broken husband leaves three sons - Ernest, John & William Milligan jr. and two daughters, Alice and Viola Milligan. She also leaves a mother, Mrs. Alice Myers who resides at Rackerby, three brothers Joseph Myers of Quincy, John Myers of Rackerby and Walter Myers, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Jones and Miss Alice Myers of Rackerby and Miss Bertha Myers who resides in the east.
Funeral services will be held at the home this evening at 7:30 o'clock and Rev. J. Chas. Rhodes of the Christian church will officiate. The body will be taken to Bangor tomorrow for interment. She was a woman dearly beloved by her family and associates, being one of a kind heart that endeared her to all to whom she became known. Her death will be deeply deplored by her relatives and many friends.

Mrs. Milligan Has Answered the Call
- Mrs. Cordelia C. Milligan, loving wife of William Milligan, died at her home in this city on Sunday. The deceased was a native of Rackerby, Yuba county and aged 44 years, 6 months and 18 days. She was the mother of Ernest, Viola, John, Alice, and William Milligan and leaves besides her children a mother, three brothers and three sisters. She was also a cousin of Captain Harry S. Day. The funeral services were held at her late residence last evening at 7:30 o'clock. Rev. Charles Rhodes of the Christian Church officiated. The body was taken to Bangor at an early hour this mornng by Kelly Brothers for interment.
