Joyce M. (nee Schelthelm) York, age 74, of 1485 N. Seventh St., Manitowoc,
entered eternal life on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, at Aurora Medical Center, Two
Rivers.
Joyce was born on March 25, 1933, in Manitowoc. She was a graduate of Lincoln
High School, Manitowoc, with the class of 1951. On May 31, 1952, she married
Edward York at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Newtonburg. He preceded
her in death on Jan. 1, 2003. Joyce was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran
Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Edward, on Jan. 1, 2003; and
one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at Bethany Evangelical
Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc. Officiating the funeral services
will be the Revs. Stephen Melso and Robert Kujawski, with burial to follow at
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Relatives and friends may call at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church on Monday
from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, North 11th and St. Clair
streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
