Mrs. Alice E. Campbell, 80, died at 12:15 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. M. Smith, 505 Sussex Street, Lynchburg, after a short illness.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. U. S. Campbell, formerly of Rt. 1, Waynesboro; two daughters, Mrs. W. H. Matheny and Mrs. I. M. Smith of Lynchburg; four sons, John E. Campbell, Rt. 1, Waynesboro, Casper, Morta and Monta Campbell, of Lynchburg. One nephew, Monroe Falls, Waynesboro, also survives.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in Lynchburg with interment in Fort Hill Burial Park.
