Jennie Smith Campbell , 87, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, July 6, 1993.

Mrs. Smith was the widow of Richard M. Smith.

She is survived by her sons & daughters in-law, H. Melvin and Eloise M. Smith of Jackson, Miss., Robert L. and Andreina M. Smith, St. Augustine, Fla.; her daughters and sons in-law, Alice S. and Delmar King, Salem, Doris S. and Gerald Engel, Naugatuck, Conn.; her grandchildren, Patrick L. Smith, Sergio A. Smith, Janice S. Shipley, Judith S. Blanchard, Richard M. Smith, Richard A. King, Samantha Engel, and Shannon Engel; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Montague D. Campbell, Madison Heights and John Everette Campbell, Waynesboro.

Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel, 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 1993, with Rev. Merlin E. Garber officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park, Lynchburg. Memorial donations may be made to Central Church of the Brethren, Roanoke. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
