Charles Edward Falls, 75, died at the Memorial Hospital, Lynchburg, yesterday at 4:20 p.m. after an illness of three weeks. He had been a farmer in the Beech Grove community for a number of years and was a member of the Beech Grove Christian Church.
He was born in Nelson County Aug. 1, 1873, son of the late J. E. and Elizabeth Lunsford Falls. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Olive Campbell Falls and four sons, N. C., H. F., R. O., and G. R. Falls, all of Roseland; also four daughters, Mrs. Fleta Tillow, Mrs. Thomas Pauck, Mrs. L. C. Chilton, all of Lynchburg, and Mrs. Aubrey F. Bradley, Vesuvius. Also five grandchildren, one sister, Miss Margeret E. Falls, Lynchburg and one brother, H. C. Falls, Vesuvius.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Beech Grove Christian Church, with interment in the church cemetery.
